Well this sounds pretty fucking shady.
According to reports, Donald Trump‘s staffers at the White House are using an app to secretly communicate with each other as a prevention against leaks. Apparently the app, called Confide, deletes any messages once they’ve been opened — which means there is NO record of the various conversations altogether.
The use of this app has allegedly been brought into the Oval Office as it’s said POTUS is frustrated and embarrassed with the leaks which have come from his staff to the media.
“Communicate digitally with the same level of privacy and security as the spoken word. With encrypted messages that self-destruct, Confide gives you the comfort of knowing that your private messages will now truly stay that way.”
But nothing is EVER 100% private. We have a feeling some pesky hackers are going to somehow find a way to crack this app, and then the President’s really going to be embarrassed.
Also, we’re finding it a bit hypocritical that the Trumpster BLASTED Hillary Clinton for using her private email server while acting as Secretary of State, but is totally fine with his staff using an app no one really knows anything about. Smh.
Still, it’s no secret that the Commander-In-Chief is feeling neurotic about the leaks within his own administration. Not only has Donald ordered an internal investigation into his talkative staff, but he also vented about the leaks on Twitter (below).
Not to mention, days later, the prez added:
So wait, is the media making up their sources or is there a leak problem?? You’ve gotta get your narrative straight, Donnie!
What do YOU think? Is it unethical for Trump’s staff to be using this app??
SOUND OFF in the comments (below)!
